#68 Participate in a Guerilla Street Protest
This was sort of unplanned, but I think the march I joined was unplanned as well.
Monday night, there was a May Day community picnic, and I stopped by, then left, and prepared to go home. As I was trying to drive home, I was stopped by a spontaneous street march for immigrant rights that had emerged out of the picnic. When I left ten minutes earlier, everyone was talking about squaredancing, but I guess they changed their minds. So I parked and joined in. We spent over an hour marching in the street on the main street through town clapping, chanting "si ce puede," as the police tried to direct traffic away from our permit-less parade.

Sí se puede.... it means "yes, we can" in español. Just thought that if you were chanting it, you might want to know how to spell it and what it means.
